It's been a while since I properly checked in, and we've had a flurry of new followers lately, so I thought the time was right to re-introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Caroline
One half of the Country Dwellers, Head Florist (actually, the only florist 😉) at The Country Dwellers Flower Patch, dog owning, sheep owning, outside loving, Peri-menopausal, 43 year old English country bumkin living her best life along with her man in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales.
I am a flower obsessive who can't live without Mature Cheddar, Hot Cross Buns or Sausages.

I grow and sell our own seasonal flowers right here on our 2 acre smallholding, specialising in Dahlias, Sunflowers & Gladioli (July-Oct) as well as offering Floristry services all year round. I have a gorgeous little home flower studio, where I create your bespoke floral designs and we have a purpose built flower Farmstand to sell our home grown blooms and creations.
I have 1 brief...to create Wildly Beautiful Blooms, full of Colour for your Weddings, Events & Occasions.

I've had many careers over the years, including Catering & Hospitality, Wedding & Portrait Photography, Nanny/Housekeeper and Gardener.
But finally in my 40's I have discovered my absolute passion, and that's Floristry!
These days my weeks are divided between assisting a disabled lady with her day to day life, Milking Cows and of course the Floristry business.
Life is busy, but good.
Looking at my previous careers, it's pretty obvious that my life has been committed to assisting other people in one way or another, and I wouldn't change it for anything.
My Family, Friends and Animals will always be my priority in life,
But making people smile comes a very close second.

Myself and Mr C have lived in South West Wales since 2020, after making the 200 mile move from Surrey, England.
It's not always been easy, but we are truly blessed to have the life we now have.

Travelling: Love it! I've been lucky to travel the world.
Best Achievement to date: Had my Wedding Photography published in a magazine.
Partner : Andy. We've been together 16 years.
