Well lets start introducing you all to my girls. This week we have Lynne Denise and Joanne Helen both 100 kVa Himoinsa Global rental spec generators auto start, synchronised for on demand or load share configurations. Long run 450l fuel tanks, super silent v2 acoustic canopies. So these ladies work well together, work hard and yes they cost me the most. Like all of our fleet they are fitted with spill kits and fire extinguisher as standard.

Just had to sort out electrics for one of our favourite traders (really they all are our favourites) in their food truck they have just had built.
Connections on the lighting circuit just tapped up.
Mis matched breakers in consumer unit.
No earth bonding on gas or chassis.
No earth on lighting circuit.
Almost all connections in consumer unit were loose and were on the pvc not copper cable.
The person responsible had provided a pat test cert. Please note a food truck or trailer should have a full EICR carried out annually not a pat test.

Please please please food traders if you are having a horse box or trailer or food truck being converted the person fitting the unit out is not necessary the best at electrics.

Might be a little cheaper but a loss of a weekends trade will cost you more.

More importantly, good staff and customers are hard to find, electricuting them is not a good business plan.
