We've had a visit this morning from the wonderful this morning. Sally popped in to sign copies of her latest brilliant book, 'Six Little Words'.

We chatted about the special human interactions that happen in retail spaces like bookshops and stationery shops, the pleasure of bookclubs, the joy of reading to children, and a shared love of a nice fountain pen!

Yesterday was the most deliciously wonderful day as we had the honour of taking THE to visit two Leicestershire schools.

The was monster spotting, marvellous music, a mass draw-along (naturally), and a whole heap of JOY!

Yesterday was the start of Empathy Lab’s Empathy Day Festival, which lasts from the 4th-11th of June. To show our support, we’ve come up with a table of some of our favourite empathy-centered stories, available now in the children’s room.
