Introducing The Full Brazilian, a brand new, eight piece band, bringing you the best Latin music, played exactly as it should be - hot, heavy and humid - for your dancing pleasure. From Spring 2021 we are planning on hitting a venue, gig or club night near you. Imagine you’re sitting by the pool, with a cocktail in one hand and your phone in the other. playing for the whole two weeks and beyond. Dress up, dress down. Show up, drink, dance, laugh, listen, drift, chill. Don’t tell your friends - simply BRING THEM ALONG! Leave the music to us. We know how to get you dancing - Samba, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and more. Astrud Gilberto to Carlos Santana, Jose Feliciano to Herbie Hancock, Sergio Mendes to Groove Armada - if it’s on your list it’s probably on ours, plus a few surprises you may not have heard before. Looks like the new band is official - The Full Brazilian, an eight-piece band playing Latin hits from five decades.

Although I'm officially El Presidente, I'm a benign dictator, which means I book things, corral the troops and supply the biscuits, leaving musical direction to my very own Che Guitarra, Dave from the Weston Favella.

We had our first rehearsal on Sunday. Armed with a list of 7 songs to work on, we actually got through 13 songs, with loads of others to work on. Some SERIOUSLY good playing from all concerned.

The two things drawing us together appear to be our love of Latin music and a mutual desire to play it in public to entertain others. This really came across during our first rehearsal.

Vocal rehearsal this Sunday in the countryside, which should give us a total of around 16 songs - not bad for a week's work!
