Some photos from day 1 at Holdenby House over Easter weekend. The sun shone after days of terrible weather 🙂.
Yet again, such a fantastic event. I was so happy to be back there for a 4th year running.

The countdown is on and the weather forecast is looking good!! Hooray 🌞🐇🏰🎨 Get your tickets booked for this weekend. It is a truly fantastic Easter day out with the family.

Holdenby House's Magic of Easter has become one of the county’s favourite ways to celebrate the Easter holidays — and this year it’s even more magical.

Children will love encountering our roaming magician around the grounds, wowing audiences with clever tricks, surprises, and plenty of
laughs.

Alice will be hiding eggs for little explorers to discover, including our very special Golden Egg, hidden every day and packed with an amazing £200 prize. She’ll be joined by the Queen of Hearts, Mad Hatter and friends, bringing lots of creative and interactive fun with face painting, rose painting, and classic lawn games for the whole family to enjoy together.

Families can gather on the lawn for unforgettable displays from Icarus Falconry & Wildlife Centre, where you’ll have the chance to meet magnificent birds of prey and a wonderful variety of animal guests. Look out for some well-loved favourites, including Roxy the Fox, Norma the Hedgehog, and Kit & Kat the Polecats.

There’s also a Mini Easter Market and Holdenby’s Gift Shop to explore — ideal for Easter treats and keepsakes. When it’s time for a break, enjoy hot food from the Food Court or indulge in delicious cakes at the Old Stableyard Tea Room by Millies Bakery.

If you come on Easter Monday, the house itself, once the largest in England, will be open for you to explore its amazing history.
