Slightly different view for Lake District Florist HQ now, much quieter I have to say but missing the excitement of the roundabout (give way to the right folks 😁)
I've had a bloomin lovely first week since exiting Main St and I've been out on deliveries everyday so far, thanks for your orders everyone. I have a bit of an update for you all today 🌻 As of Monday 18th my lovely florist business will be moving out of the shop on main street and I'll be working from my studio space at home. This means you can still order lovely flowers for delivery etc but via the phone/website/messenger etc.
I'm excited to start this new chapter 🌻
So folks if you're around town this week pop in and grab a bargain as I'm having a huge 50% sale on shop items!!! There are some fabulous ceramics, plants, gifts etc so start your Christmas shopping early and grab a bargain!!! 🌻🌻🌻

This week marks my 31st year in floristry, I went to college to study floristry more or less straight from school, apart from a very small, incredibly boring stint in an insurance office.....yawn 😁 Different styles have come and gone and the industry has changed massively over the years but my love for all things botanical is bigger than ever. It has been difficult competing with supermarkets etc for the day to day purchases but I can say wholeheartedly you do get what you pay for for the important occasions. I love helping arrange weddings, special birthdays and sympathy flowers. It does make an the difference.

Our Story

After studying Floristry at the age of 17 (1994!!), I have worked in various shops in Cumbria and Lancashire and from home, providing wedding flowers. When my youngest of four boys reached nursery age I decided to take the plunge and open my own shop. And here I am now at 80, Main Street, Keswick. With my own style of floristry and stocking a large range of interesting houseplants. I hope you pop in and say hello soon. Annette x
