A soft and elegant welcome for guests arriving to this summer drinks reception. Each cocktail table was dressed with relaxed arrangements of white and blue hydrangeas and white roses—designed to echo the pale blue elements in the linens and gently elevate the space without overpowering it.

The drinks area itself was flanked by real liquidambar and birch trees, creating a fresh, natural atmosphere, while potted paniculata hydrangeas added seasonal softness and structure throughout.

A considered, light-touch design—perfect for a refined celebration.

This bouquet floated downstream during a shoot. I watched it drift, just for a moment—then stepped into the river to bring it back.

Not because I needed the flowers (though they were beautiful), but because there’s something about reclaiming the moment. About making sure even the smallest parts of the day are held with care.

I’m Jiska, a floral designer based in Co. Kerry, working with couples who care deeply about their wedding experience. My work blends Irish-grown heirloom flowers with premium Dutch blooms, brought together in natural, sculptural arrangements. Everything I create is bespoke—designed to reflect your story and the setting you’ve chosen to celebrate it in.

Preserving nature has always been high on my priority list. It's part of our ethos and to be quite honest: I don't think Yesca's Flowers would have existed without my love of nature and growing.

This is why our tree planting initiative is so close to my heart. It combines all my favourite things: growing and helping to enhance the habitat of an endangered bird species. The wide hedgerows will not only mimic the forest edge (preferred location for the hen harriers to start a hunt) it will act as wind protection for the delicate flowers that we bloom.

On top of that by planting a variety of native tree species we will increase the biodiversity of our land and soil greatly. This means - more birds and small mammals will come to live on our grounds, the soil will heal itself and natural predators of many of our garden pests will increase.

A win-win situation. Just like anything if you work with nature.
