We’re in our colourful era over here at Yesca’s Flowers.

This arch has to be one of my favourites so far—full of energy, movement, and the most joyful mix of blooms.

Believe it or not, this entire vision — and every floral detail — came together just a few short weeks before Paula and Michael’s wedding day.

After several attempts to marry in Ireland, life kept shifting their plans. Then came Covid. In the years that followed, their family grew with the arrival of two beautiful children. It wasn’t until July last year that they made the bold decision to finally celebrate their love — with an August wedding.

From the outset, Paula had a clear and elegant vision. With a few tailored suggestions from our side, we managed to fit several consultations into a short space of time, resulting in a fully bespoke floral experience from start to finish.

The day itself was windy but sunlit — a perfect backdrop for their timeless white-and-green florals at Boyne Hill House, where everything felt wonderfully relaxed and full of joy.

All credit to this lovely couple for pulling off such a heartfelt celebration with just a few weeks to plan.

Would you be this dedicated?

New around here? Or maybe it’s been a while—let me reintroduce myself.
I’m Jiska, a wedding florist based in the lush landscape of Co. Kerry. I grow many of my own flowers—heirloom varieties with character—and pair them with exquisite blooms from the Netherlands to create natural, elegant wedding flowers that feel personal, considered, and beautifully seasonal.

I work with couples from Ireland and overseas who want more than just flowers—they want floral storytelling. From statement installations in castles to intimate ceremonies in heritage houses, every detail is designed to reflect the feel of your day.

If you’re dreaming of a cohesive, luxurious floral look—welcome. You’re in the right place.

A quick fluff before the “I do.”
Just before guests arrive, we give the florals one last look—fluffing, adjusting, and making sure every bloom is sitting just right.
It’s the quiet final touch that makes everything look fresh, full and perfectly placed.

Moody. Sculptural. Unconventional.
This floral mantlepiece was designed as the backdrop for a rehearsal dinner with a twist—a murder mystery evening at Cahernane House Hotel in Killarney.

With chocolate anthuriums, Vanda orchids, twisted branches and hydrangeas, the brief was all about atmosphere and detail. A floral design that tells its own story.

When I say every wedding I work on is bespoke, I truly mean it.

Here are just a few things I don’t do – because my focus is on making your wedding flowers meaningful, beautiful, and personal:

💐 No cookie-cutter weddings.
Everything I create is designed to reflect your style, your venue, and the season.

🏡 No traditional shop front.
I work from a quiet studio at home beside our cutting garden. No walk-ins – just focused creativity.

🌸 No one-off bunches anymore.
I now work exclusively on weddings. Occasionally, I offer custom bouquets with a little notice during the growing season.

💎 No price matching.
Each florist has their own style and standard. My prices reflect the quality of flowers I use and the time I spend designing just for you.

💬 No quotes without a chat.
I always like to speak with you first – to hear what you’re dreaming of, and to make sure I can bring it to life.

If you're planning your wedding and wondering where to start with flowers, I’d love to hear from you.

Preserving nature has always been high on my priority list. It's part of our ethos and to be quite honest: I don't think Yesca's Flowers would have existed without my love of nature and growing.

This is why our tree planting initiative is so close to my heart. It combines all my favourite things: growing and helping to enhance the habitat of an endangered bird species. The wide hedgerows will not only mimic the forest edge (preferred location for the hen harriers to start a hunt) it will act as wind protection for the delicate flowers that we bloom.

On top of that by planting a variety of native tree species we will increase the biodiversity of our land and soil greatly. This means - more birds and small mammals will come to live on our grounds, the soil will heal itself and natural predators of many of our garden pests will increase.

A win-win situation. Just like anything if you work with nature.

Do you want to help?

Keep the first of March available in your diary. I'd love to see you on the day, plant a few trees and talk more about this favourite subject of mine. Plus give you a tour of our cutting gardens of course.

Red roses may be the traditional symbol of love, but they often come at a cost—to the environment. Grown in heated greenhouses, flown thousands of miles, and wrapped in plastic, they are far from the sustainable choice many people assume they are.

This year, why not choose something different? Our floral workshops offer a creative, long-lasting alternative to imported roses. Whether you want to create a living wreath, kokedama, or a wildflower-inspired arrangement, you’ll work with seasonal, sustainable flowers to craft something truly unique.

Perfect as a gift for someone special or as an experience to enjoy yourself, these workshops are designed for anyone who loves flowers and wants to create something that lasts.

Because love, like flowers, should be nurtured—not imported.
