There’s something pretty special about hearing how your photographs have allowed a couple to relive their wedding day all over again.

A lovely message from Izzy and Jack, after receiving their wedding photographs from their wedding this August:

“Honestly thank you so much again for photographing our wedding we cannot put into words how grateful we are.”

And perhaps my favourite part:

What if your wedding day wasn't the last time you got to wear the dress?

There are some dresses that deserve a second outing.

And sometimes, once the wedding day is over, you realise you didn't quite get that photograph. The dramatic one. The slightly wild one. The one that simply wouldn't have been possible on your wedding day.

That's where a Trash the Dress shoot comes in. 🤍

This was .modelling_x on the beach at Tankerton, with the sea coming in, the sun disappearing over the horizon and absolutely no reason to worry about keeping the dress clean anymore!

And honestly... why should the wedding day have all the fun?

When the sea becomes part of the dress. 🌊

A little bit of sunset, a little bit of sea, and a wedding dress that definitely wasn't staying dry...

We headed down to Tankerton Beach for this styled Trash the Dress shoot, timing everything around sunset and tide to catch that last beautiful light across the water.

I absolutely love how this one came together. Getting down low in the water meant the waves became a huge part of the image, with our bride model Terri almost surrounded by the sea while that incredible evening sky stretched out behind her.

And this is only one of several images from the shoot that I'll be sharing over the next few days.

What if you could wear your wedding dress one more time… but this time, there are no rules? 🌊🤍

Last week we took a beautiful wedding gown down to the beach for a little styled Trash the Dress shoot — and honestly, I think we may have found a rather good way to show just how incredible these sessions can be.

Golden light, bare feet, wind in the dress, and absolutely no worrying about keeping that pristine wedding gown pristine.

This is the sort of thing I LOVE creating.

And here's the thing… you don't need to be a model to do this. You don't need a second wedding. And you definitely don't need to spend the day worrying about your dress getting a little bit dirty.

If you've already got married and fancy putting the dress back on for some seriously epic photographs, I'd love to create something like this with you.

A beach. Your dress. Your favourite person. A bit of wind. And a photographer who is very happy to get his feet wet. 😉 To be honest, I pretty much got wet up to my head, and it was so much fun!!
