I was delighted to have worked today on 21 December 2024, working as Wedding Celebrant for the Renewal of Vows ceremony of Zoe and Gary. I created and officiated the ceremony in accordance with the clients wishes and added lots of special touches. I fine tuned everything in advance and on the day, in order to ensure it would be perfect. All taking place in Loughton.

My professional Celebrant / Officiant service is available both UK Nationwide and International.

Most people choose not to have a celebrant because they prefer to marry on the same day as their celebrations (aka wedding reception) but wait until you read about my 5 reasons why I think you should hire a celebrant, and I may just change your mind.

1. It is extremely more personalised than any other ceremony. If you have been to a celebrant led ceremony, you will know that there is a lot of talk about you two as a couple, injected with lots of humour qnd special touches ; however you want your love story to be portrayed.
2. More flexibility! 9 times out of 10, your celebrant will not have to rush off to do another wedding so you can relax knowing that if things are running behind, they are happy to wait, helping you to feel more relaxed knowing you are not against the clock.
3. You can have a celebrant anywhere you like (literally)
There is so much more flexibility for a celebrant to travel to any location of your choice; so that garden wedding in your family home you've been dreaming of, just became so much more appealing.
1. Celebrants really take the time to get to know you, your story, journey and personalities and use that to create the most perfect ceremony with anecdotes of your life together so far.
2. It roughly costs the same to have a registrar led ceremony so this way, you pay for your celebrant and then only have to pay for the legal paperwork side at your local registry office (check with your local office but can be as low as £56.00) - also don't forget, a registrar can only carry out a ceremony on licensed premises/land.

I'm not saying that a celebrant led ceremony is suitable for everyone but it helps to have all the information you can to hand to help you make a decision on what is best for you!

Many couples approach me and ask, how can I make my ceremony and build up, more entertaining and more reasonably priced than having a civil ceremony at there venue or location.

1/ You can have a statutory marriage ceremony just to have the legals done with 2 witnesses at your registry office for between 85.00 - 150.00

2/ Book me as your wedding celebrant and have a personalised ceremony with lots of special touches and fun, which will enhance the guests experience to its maximum, and your experience will be one to remember for a lifetime and beyond.

3/ You will certainly save money by booking me and not booking a registrar to conduct the ceremony at your venue.

4/ You can even have my celebrant ceremony in your back garden, beach, forest or where you wish.
