I’ve had lots of people ask me for wreath making dates this year. I think most people would like to get their wreaths up for the 1st of December so I’ve chosen the last two weekends in November. This year we are going to mix it up with the foliages, going all out natural and whimsical, I’ve got lots of grasses, hazels along with some less traditional foliages but as always have the traditional spruce and eucalyptus. The stretch tent is undergoing renovation and it will be more festive than ever. Really excited. If you have a party of five or more then I’m happy to do a private class in the week or on a weekday evening, dm me for details.

I know I haven’t posted for a long time, summer was crazy and I’m just catching up with myself. Creating this window for Autumn has got me back into the swing of the seasons. I love creating a window display here Portrait Hair | Kenilworth and chatting to all the passers by. I miss the bustle of town but appreciate the peace of home.

A week ago we went to a poultry auction in Leicester and somehow came home with three beautiful new chickens to add to our flock 🐓✨

My husband was absolutely adamant we wouldn’t be spending much on chickens… but after a bit of pleading from me and seeing all the gorgeous birds, his resolve quickly disappeared 😂

As if that wasn’t enough, we also brought home 22 hatching eggs which are currently tucked away in the incubator 🥚🐣

Now we wait… and wonder what on earth we’ll do with 22 chicks if they all hatch! Fingers crossed they’re all ladies 🤞🐔

Always a joy to decorate I feel like I had a little inspiration from Chelsea this week. Keeping it very natural and wild while bringing a little country rustic to the centre of Kenilworth.

Sicily! What an amazing island. We had the most incredible holiday here. We saw Etna, we swam in beautiful turquoise waters, drank the most delicious w**e, the food was incredible and the scenery and towns were just stunning. If you haven’t been id highly recommend going. I really need to do some work now. ❤️🇮🇹 💯🙌😉
