Even on a wet and wild day, the Lake District is a fabulous place to have your wedding day. So it was for Michael and Rebecca back in May at the wonderful Inn on the Lake. Everyone had a great time, shrugged off the rain drops for the photoshoot and confetti and enjoyed it all to the full.

There's always that bit of self doubt when you do this job, you're never ever completely happy with how it all went and then you get feedback on the proof copy like this and it just makes it all worth while. Capturing memories for the years to come.

Two weddings this week and two sides of the Lake District weather Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa for Steven and Maisie's wedding last Sunday and then Michael and Rebecca's day at Inn on the Lake.
I always say to couples that the one thing they have absolutely no control over is the weather.

A bit of serendipity today when I took an old school photograph (1957) from my mother in law's days into the school to add to their collection. The receptionist turned out to be one of my brides from 20 years ago 😀

Multitasking at today's wedding! Back at the wonderful Cragwood Country House Hotel filming a 'Just the Two of Us' ceremony and acting as witness at the same time :) Lovely to be working alongside Lorraine Oates Photography again after such a long time.
