Led by phenomenal singer Clare Grogan, Altered Images are new wave/post-punk pioneers who emerged from Glasgow's music scene in the 1980s. They've gone on to sell millions of records, topping the charts in several countries, having working with legendary producers Martin Rushent, Mike Chapman and Tony Visconti.

New Show On Sale!

Lakeland Canoe Club looks forward to presenting the 2026 Paddling Film Festival, showing great paddling films from around the world. This is the 8th year for this popular event at Brewery Arts.

The Paddling Film Festival has been showcasing the world’s best paddling films since 2006. Travel from a river deep in the jungles of Gabon to the monster waves of the Indus in Pakistan; from a scientific exploration by packraft in Patagonia to a 1,000-mile canoe trip spanning the Pacific to the Arctic; and from finding freedom on the water after a tragic accident to the workshop of a legendary canoe builder, this year’s 22-film lineup will take you around the world.

Innovative folk trio Leveret are comprised of three of England's most celebrated folk musicians: Andy Cutting (melodeon), Sam Sweeney (fiddle), and Rob Harbron (English concertina).
They perform in our Theatre on 26 September, but is no ordinary gig - the audience is in charge!

For the first time ever, their entire discography is on the table, and the setlist will be shaped by the audience. As you arrive, you'll be invited to write down your favourite tunes and drop them into the request box. Then, live on stage, Leveret will draw them out and bring your choices to life.
