Join us on 26 September as singer and composer Kim Carnie performs in our Theatre. Since launching her solo career in 2018, Kim has become one of the most sought-after singers and session vocalists that Scotland has to offer, having worked with producers including Jim Sutherland (Salmon Fishing in the Yemen), Donald Shaw (Capercaillie) and Ged Grimes (Simple Minds). In 2019 and 2020, she also joined bands Mànran and Staran, respectively, as lead singer.

Summer 2022 saw the release of her debut solo album ‘And So We Gather’. The album has been recognised as one of the ‘biggest folk and Gaelic records of the generation’, bringing together some of the brightest names on the Scottish music scene, from Donald Shaw, Julie Fowlis and Karen Matheson, to Senegalese Kora player Kadialy Kouyate and award-winning saxophonist Matt Carmichael.

Love pizza but tired of the same old options??!!

Our new menu is here with seriously delicious pizzas for you to enjoy. Made with our lovingly crafted house-made dough - with a splash of local beer 🍺

Our Broccolini & Almond (French-inspired and our Head Chefs favourite!) pizza features a creamy almond milk sauce, tenderstem broccoli, zesty sumac salt - to make the flavours pop - and peppery watercress. Add vegan cheese or mozzarella - it’s a win either way 🍕

And it’s not just new pizzas - our full menu is packed with flavour, and every dish pairs perfectly with a crisp beer from Lakes Brew Co or a zesty wine from Stainton Wines

Happy weekend! Head to https://www.breweryarts.co.uk/visit/food-drink/ to book your table🍴

Our Story

Home to thought-provoking theatre, magic music, dramatic dance, side-splitting comedy and exciting exhibitions, the Brewery Arts Centre is the cultural hub of South Lakeland.

From humble beginnings in a disused brewhouse in the early 70s, The Brewery has grown into one of the North’s leading multi-arts venues with a year round-programme of quality arts and entertainment events.

The Brewery boasts mainstream and arthouse cinemas, real-ale pub, pizza restaurant, vibrant café and beautiful gardens making it Kendal’s number one entertainment destination.

The centre plays host to several major festivals during the year including the Freerange Comedy Festival, Kendal Mountain Festival and the Lakes International Comic Art Festival.
