Recently, we delivered a bushcraft teambuilding experience for a large group, where success wasn’t just about mastering outdoor skills – it was about creating effective processes, sharing knowledge and working together to achieve a common goal.
From shelter building and foraging to fire lighting and making herbal teas; every task highlighted the importance of collaboration and working together as a greater team.
And of course, there was plenty of laughter and friendly competition along the way!
The outdoors has a unique way of bringing team dynamics to life.

“Honestly, I’ve got nothing but good to say.”

Comments like that mean a lot.

Because at the heart of what we do isn’t just organising events.

It’s creating experiences that help teams connect, recharge, think differently and spend quality time together away from the daily pressures of work.

So, if you’ve recently followed us and you’re wondering how we can help, here’s what we do:

👉 We work with businesses that want to bring their people together in a meaningful way.

👉 We help teams improve connection, strengthen relationships, reward hard work, create memorable experiences and give people the space to step away from the demands of their roles.

👉 We design and deliver:
• Team away days
• Corporate wellbeing experiences
• Leadership retreats
• Team building events
• Company celebrations and incentive events

Everything is tailored around your objectives, your people and the outcomes you want to achieve.

Purposeful experiences designed to make a lasting impact.

If you’re planning something for your team this year and would like to explore some ideas, send me a message or book a conversation.

We’ll help you create an event your team will still be talking about long after it’s finished.

We’ve delivered quite a few wellbeing focused events recently, and one topic keeps coming up in conversation:

Stress

Not only how it feels on a personal level, but the impact it’s having on teams, leaders and businesses as a whole.

The statistics are hard to ignore.

In the UK, an estimated 22.1 million working days were lost over the last year due to work-related stress.

Stress isn’t just a wellbeing issue.
It’s a business issue.

It can affect performance, engagement, communication, decision-making, workplace relationships and ultimately organisational results.

What we’ve noticed through our workshops is that most people already know stress is affecting them at work and also home life.

What they’re often missing is the time, space and practical tools to manage it effectively.

That’s why our wellbeing experiences take people away from their desks and into nature.

Away from emails, meetings and constant notifications.

Creating opportunities to slow down, reflect, reconnect and learn simple, evidence-based techniques that can help them navigate pressure more effectively.

It’s not just a relaxing enjoyable day out, it’s providing tools for change.

As organisations continue to invest in technology, systems and growth, perhaps one of the most valuable investments they can make is in the resilience and wellbeing of the people who drive that success.

We are passionate about making a difference and helping businesses. Get in touch for more information or book a call in the bio.

If it doesn’t change how your team works, it’s just a nice day out.
There has to be a genuine reason for bringing people together.
A commercial case for that budget demonstrating a real return and positive outcomes.
The activity is simply the vehicle for delivering that shift in behaviour.
So before planning anything, it’s worth asking yourself:
How do things need to be different after this?
Because when the outcome is clear, the whole experience becomes more valuable and far more impactful long after the event finishes.
If you’re planning a team event, away day or leadership retreat this year, we’d love to help shape something around outcomes….. not just activities.

Most businesses plan their team events the wrong way round.
Businesses start with the activity first:
“What should we do?”
“Go Ape?”
“Cocktail making?”
“Something outdoors?”
Instead of asking the question that actually matters:
“What needs to improve afterwards?”

If you’re in the early stages of planning something this year, we’re always happy to help shape ideas around outcomes; not just activities.
Drop me a DM and let’s arrange a call to scope out your ideas.

Most businesses are tired of generic team building events.

Those awkward icebreakers.
The overused generic activities.
And the forced fun.

Because the reality right now is that businesses aren’t investing in team events for the sake of having a ‘day out of the office’.

The businesses who are still running team events are focusing on the thing that’s driving the reason for the team event in the first place.

It could be things like….
A team that’s grown quickly but doesn’t fully connect yet.
Internal departments are working in silos and there’s a blame culture breeding.
Maybe there’s new managers stepping into leadership.

Or simply the fact that economic pressure, change or uncertainty is
impacting morale and communication.

The activity itself is only ever part of the answer.

What matters most is what shifts after the team event ends:
→ Better communication
→ Stronger collaboration
→ More aligned leadership
→ Teams that actually work better together

That’s why the best events don’t feel generic or off-the-shelf.
They’re built around real outcomes.
Around your people.
And around what your business actually needs right now.

Because when team building is done properly, it stops being “something nice to do”…
…and becomes something genuinely valuable when your staff are back in the
business.

Genuine question…. what’s been the best (or worst!) team building activity you’ve ever done?

I’ve heard about some real corkers over the years!! 😄

“Let’s just get the team together” isn’t enough anymore.
Not when budgets are tighter than ever.
Not when time out of the business comes at such a cost.
And definitely not when leadership teams are being asked to deliver more with less.
Over the past couple of years I’ve seen the conversation around team events has changed.
It’s no longer about the activity itself.
It’s about the commercial impact that activity and time out of the office will have.
So what does that impact need to be for your business?
Better communication?
Stronger collaboration across departments?
A leadership team that’s properly aligned?
Merged teams building trust faster?
People reconnecting after pressure and change?
When there’s a clear purpose behind the team event, it stops being “a nice day out” and starts becoming a commercial investment.
The businesses getting the most value from team events right now are the ones treating them as part of a wider people and performance strategy.
Not just an ‘team away day’ that gets put in the diary.
That’s why every conversation we have starts with outcomes first.
The activity comes second.
If you’re planning a team event, away day or leadership retreat this year, let’s talk about what success actually needs to look like afterwards.
Send me a DM and let’s get an event planning call booked in to talk about what impact you want your team activities to have.
