A great way to finish the day!

After a full morning of conferencing, delegates swapped the meeting room for the great outdoors and took on a fast paced treasure hunt in the heart of the Lake District.

With teams navigating, taking Polaroid pictures, and working together against the clock, it was the perfect way to re-energise, strengthen connections, and end the day on a high.

Fresh air, stunning scenery, plenty of laughter, and some healthy competition – a winning combination for any away day!

Yesterday was all about bringing people together.

From the very first icebreaker to the final challenge event, the focus was on helping colleagues get to know each other, strengthen relationships and build a solid foundation for teamwork.

Through a mix of problem solving activities, energisers and plenty of fun and engaging challenges, we created an environment where conversations flowed, collaboration happened naturally and teams left feeling more connected.

A fantastic group, great energy and a super day all round.

There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to kick off a conference!

We recently delivered our Olympic Challenge Games as the opening energiser for a student conference, the awkward silences were transformed in minutes.

Teams took on a series of fast-paced Olympic inspired challenges designed to:
• Get people talking and laughing
• Encourage teamwork
• Create energy before the conference began

The perfect way to turn a room full of strangers into a room full of conversations.

And the grand finale? Synchronised swimming… on dry land! It was the perfect way to end the session, with everyone fully embracing the fun and setting the tone for an engaging day ahead.

There are few better ways to experience the Lake District than from the water.

Our canoe regatta had this group slowing the pace, spending quality time together and enjoying stunning scenery.

With plenty of laughter, teamwork, and a little friendly competition along the way, the experience gave everyone the chance to connect in a completely different environment.

This shared adventure created memories that will last far longer than another meeting room session ever could.

When people from different departments come together, they often bring different ways of thinking and different perspectives. That’s exactly what makes problem solving activities and our stop the clock so effective.

Last week we worked with a fantastic team, using a series of collaborative challenges that encouraged people to communicate, think creatively, and make decisions together under pressure.Success came from listening, sharing ideas, adapting quickly, and recognising the strengths each individual brought to the team.

The result? New connections were formed, barriers between teams began to disappear, and there were plenty of laughs along the way.

Team building isn’t about who wins the challenge (although some teams may disagree!!) —it’s about creating opportunities for people to work differently, build trust, and return to the workplace with stronger relationships.
