Slices of Bright Bold and Unapologetically AUTHENTIC wedding content (YAAAAAS)

Erin and Dale aren’t about trends— they’re about personality. From the moment their guests arrived, they knew they were part of something uniquely curated and deeply personal.

Their wedding didn’t scream for attention, it radiated authenticity. It was where style met substance, where a groom wore bespoke mules in honour of his partner and where a red lip wasn’t just makeup but a symbol of a bride who knows exactly who she is and isn’t afraid to show it.

I 👏AM 👏HERE 👏FOR👏 IT👏

Free Range Floristry take the time to understand your style, your vibe and what matters most to you. Whether you’re after something wild and whimsical or modern and striking, we design flowers that feel like you—beautiful, meaningful and completely UNFORGETTABLE.

If you’re planning a wedding full of colour, love, and personality, I’d be honoured to help you tell your story through flowers.

Proper bloody gorgeous.

A cute Thursday spent making floral magic for L & L on a soft rainy day in The Lakes over at HQ

The light in the side barn of Town Head Estate gives some of the most beautiful light I’ve ever seen at any venue and I am a bit obsessed with smaller indoor weddings using this area ❤️

Lucy wanted to lean into the softer side of a pink and warm white palette with whispers of lilac throughout, so the whimsy of this nest SERVED the brief and some.

Curving round to give an immersive ceremony experience, it was then long enough to be placed the full length of a 11 ft top table and create impact and wow for the wedding breakfast.

Very much looking forward to seeing the professional pictures of this day from

Special thanks to my floral besty Kathryn for her freelance and photography services and to the charming 6ft guest (who’s name I forget) who attempted to help us forage some beech because he secretly wanted to be a cute florist too. Welcome to the club mystery man.

September, you are beautiful

Slices of August Pie and a selection of private photos I’ve favourited from this glorious month.

A relatively quiet month for me with only 5 carefully curated weddings and 1 outstanding brand shoot. Being booked for the majority of the year gave me the privilege to choose to have 20 days off this month and here is how I spent it…

Probably like most mums, I worry my children are growing up too fast so I decided to give them the tackiest holiday known to man to bring out and FIRE their childish joy. We stayed in butlins for one week before bumming around Cornwall, Devon and The Cotswolds in the camper and tent box after for 10 day’s.

I can’t lie that it was hard work. But I’m hopeful they’ll look back on this time as peak child hood.

Huge overstimulation on my part from crowds, swimming pools and commercialisation made me reach for my national trust membership more than ever and we visited a new place each day, picnic in hand. It was a much needed deep breath.

1. A lovely shot from who found places on the farm I’d never romanticised until now
2. Free aeroplane swings at Butlins made us all sick but alive
3. Peace finally with a s**t fire in a quiet campsite (my idea of heaven)
4. Edward in the stocks at some beautiful national trust Penzance gardens
5. Hiding in the bushes during a wedding ceremony ready to pounce on the turn around lighting speed
6. Another national trust this time in the Cotswolds, reubs spent 3 hours dressing up and we ugly laughed and cried our heads off surrounded by quiet please signs
7. Escaped the SH*TTEST busiest most intense campsite ever (think butlins on steroids) to a fancy ass air b n b that cost as much for one night as 10 nights camping. Soaked a week of dirt out my bones.
8. Fruit picking and ‘stealing’ in Devon, we donated £10 to the ‘pay what you ate’ jar on the way out
9. Good Morning
10. Fell in love with what the sea does to reubs hair
11. Visited the tallest tree in The UK
12. Our last night camping playing a Pokémon board game
13. Let Edward have that horse
14. Pocket money was SPENT and SLAYED

Let’s be honest, I get over confident with Google reviews and forget to actually share some of the post wedding feedback that slides into my DMs faster than wedding suppliers making Taylor Swift themed reels…

But here’s just some of what L&D had to say minus a few bits of swearing I took out

Hey Sam, I’d do proper thank you’s later but there was no way I was letting a week go by without thanking you.
From stalking you on Instagram for 6 months to bombarding you at an open day I knew you were my kind of florist and girl. We actually have a florist who has done my family wedding flowers for about 20 years, but I fell head over heels for your relaxed, textured, romantic bouquets and I’ve never seen anyone who can put a colour palette together like you can.

All I can say is wow, the moment I noticed you’d snuck into the bridal room I burst into tears. You smashed my very loose brief and more. The arch the table the bouquets to all the little details around the venue. It noticed every single one. They just took my breath away. James Hicks probably got bored of how much I spoke about them 😂 you are truly an extremely talented lady. I will be recommending you to anyone and everyone who will listen to me go on about my wedding flowers 😂 I cannot thank you enough. Sorry I cried all the way through your little flower brief, I tried my best to listen I was just so overwhelmed with how good they were. To my number 1 wedding supplier, from both of us, thank you. Lucy & Darren

A special thanks to you both for being fabulous and who has blown my socks off with these images 🤯

Little slices of life on Our 160 acre Lake District Farm and Jacobean Home

I’m so excited to gradually introduce and weave our faces into the brand I’ve built these last five years.

You’ll find Free Range Floristry nestled snuggly between Crooklands and Lupton surrounded by rolling hills, misty becks and peaceful canals. Just listen for the honks of two menacing DH geese and you’re in the right place.

Free Range Floristry is driven by authenticity and style, not fads and trends. We value experience, family and meaningful relationships above all else (so being a part of your love story brings us endless joy).

If you’re looking for the latest trend or the best deal we’re not the florist for you, but if you value atmosphere, memories, luxury, authenticity and beauty - welcome to your tribe.

I really hope you like dark humour too and we’re basically besties…

A carousel of clips for my gorgeous Bride Lindsay who was married this weekend at Lancrigg

Another completely authentic brief free from the pressures of trend and comparison, Lindsay’s personal style and story was thread into each aesthetic detail to make this incredibly personal.

Deep tonal colours mixed with pinks and warm frothy whites for this Scottish elopement themed brief, super textural with dried elements mixed in throughout and as many traditional cottage core florals we could lay our hands on.

We incorporated home grown dried teasels, allium, globe thistles, sea holly and straw flowers from 2024, multiple hedgerow elements including fresh berries, home grown straw flowers, stattice, dahlia, zinnia and cosmos and an abundance of Dutch flowers like fresh allium, delphiniums, wax flowers, poppy heads and toffee roses to add depth and colour.

A 9 ft meadow was broken down and restyled into 5 separate components and the dried aisle meadows created 2 focal points in the venue, including a textural cake meadow.

All in all, a bit bloody sexy and completely authentic to Lindsay’s brief ❤️

Yesterday for Lucy and Darren was an absolute bank holiday dream…

Lashings of home grown cosmos, sweet pea, snapdragons, Pom Pom dahlia and vintage sunflowers teamed with glorious Dutch tulips, delphiniums, garden roses, toffee roses and fresh hedgerow blackberries for an explosion of pinks, peaches and lemons.

A pleasure to work with

Back from my break with a busy weekend bang and can’t wait to show you more of what we’ve been up too!

I am OUT OF OFFICE for the next two weeks...

My plan is to be as present as possible for my boys and enjoy as much free fun as I can while we bum around The South and Devon in the tent box.

I will nip in and out of email, including sending revised quotes for upcoming brides and lovely wedding planners however I do need time to decompress because WOWZA what a BUSY 6 months.

Thank you for taking my little business to dizzy heights and creating enough work for me to take substantial time off peak season, I’m full of gratitude for each of you.

In the meantime here’s some delicious content from today’s brand shoot with the talented and patient who I’m besotted with.

Some very exciting and big plans coming soon and I’m so excited to share them with you all ❤️

Slices of July Pie…

Another very busy month, flowers continue to grow in abundance on the farm (we have big juicy plans for the next 5 years to make the best of this gorgeous space I call home) and weddings take us all over The Lakes for glorious installs, tablescapes and personals.

A nasty bug saw us in bed the most of two weeks, conserving our energy for flowering only and between the patches of rain there’s been some half decent sunshine.

Another month full of gratitude and thanks to you all ❤️

1. Homegrown blooms bowl and homegrown silkie chick chilling by the cellar
2. Finally sunglass weather
3. 7ft opulent abundant urns over at Askham Hall
4. A soft pastel palette with pops of lilac
5. Frothy textural whites favourite flower dog daisies
6. Welcome meadow at Town Head Estate
7. Bright softs bridal party flowers in the morning sunrise light
8. The rare and ethereal snow leopard
9. Lilac pops in a whimsical bridesmaids bouquet
10. 8ft foam free broken arch
11. Swimming in the rain
12. More exclusively home grown blooms (we’ve been very busy at FRF HQ)

Orchids. Pom Pom Dahlia. Blossom. Hand dyed sweet peas.

The multi layered, textural, asymmetrical, ultra modern, acid pastel joy that were S&T’s wedding flowers still have me in an ethereal chokehold.

Always the most creative fun to work with at

A wealth of thanks to for these stunning images. I am in love with both her shooting style and edit 🥵
