We’re in your corner. 👋

At South Shields FC, we believe everyone deserves the chance to thrive. While our doors are open to all, the SSFC Foundation focuses its work where support is needed most.

We tackle real challenges across South Tyneside through our targeted programmes that uplift young people, families, older residents facing loneliness, and those living in our area’s most underrepresented communities.

Whether it's helping individuals boost their health, build employability skills, or stay safe and active, we ensure every activity makes support genuinely accessible.

We are dedicated to ensuring nobody gets left behind, standing alongside our community every step of the way to ensure support is always available whenever it is needed.

Building brighter futures on and off the pitch. 🌟

At the SSFC Foundation, we believe improving lives across South Tyneside starts with a simple, proven foundation. Every activity we run is designed around improving wellbeing to help our community nurture their physical, mental, and social happiness.

Our work focuses on five core elements. We create welcoming spaces to connect with others and build meaningful friendships, alongside active sessions that keep your body and mind strong.

Through our programmes, we encourage staying present to build daily resilience, while opening up opportunities to keep learning new skills that boost personal confidence. Finally, we champion giving back, because supporting one another creates a happier, tighter-knit community.

No matter which area of our foundation you interact with, you will find these vital principles powering our mission to lift up South Tyneside. 💙
