We’re looking for a Class 2 Lorry Driver to join our team. We run a fleet of in house lorries that are maintained to a high standard. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team “delivering” a wide range of events and experience some great opportunities, whilst seeing events from another perspective.

This position is full time, however we will also welcome freelance drivers to join our team as well.

Last night we provided full production for the London Film Music Orchestra at the magnificent St Paul's Cathedral. Scaling up from the usual tour package, 46 d&b audiotechnik loudspeakers formed the distributed audio system powered by two DiGiCo consoles. Over 200 lighting fixtures from ADJ Lighting CHAUVET Professional and Prolights with Avolites control. We worked closely with the venue to minimise cable runs utilizing wireless signal for both lighting and amplifier sends, as well as lighting fixture choices to create the best effects without the use of haze. A big thank you to all of our crew involved both on site and behind the scenes who made the whole show run seamlessly.

highlighting our SXH218s which we added earlier this year. As our initial investment into Martin Audio we purchased 24x WPC, 12x SXH218, 6x TORUS 1230 and 12x IK42 amplifiers. We’ve been very impressed with the results which is paving the way for further investment!

Blue Thunder Sound welcomes applicants for a full time warehouse manager based at our warehouse near Ivybridge. With a substantial audio, lighting, staging and power hire stock you will be the back bone of the company ensuring that our equipment stays in the best condition. You will be responsible for making sure that the right kit gets to the right place at the right time. You will demonstrate great maintenance skills, with good experience of basic electronics, mechanics, organisation and most importantly exceptional time keeping. A great team player is essential as you will be expected to lead diverse team.

NEW STOCK ANNOUNCEMENT!!

We're excited to announce a substantial investment in a large Martin Audio WPC System. A shock we know, but fear not we are continuing to stock all of the d&b audiotechnik products that you know us for, actually we have increased quantities of most of the d&b lines that we have!

As our initial investment we have added 24x WPC Line Array Elements, 12x SXH218 Subwoofers, 6x Torus 1230 and 12x IKON 42 Amplifiers, along with the associated rigging, networking and system redundancy. Enough to be getting on with!
