What a fantastic evening at the Globe Hall last night. Great entertainment from country singer Kerry Weir, A Pizza Van in the village providing fantastic Pizza , and all proceeds going to the Great Northern Air Ambulance. Many thanks to Sandra Wilson for organising this event, you did a fantastic job. Thanks to Mick Moore and the lighting crew for all of the behind the scenes work to get the place set up.

All you quiz doubters who questioned whether the Kiwi fruit was actually a Kiwi fruit. Here lies the evidence, it was a Golden Kiwi fruit, currently available on Amazon. My case is rested!

Thanks to everyone who attended the quiz night last night, great to see all the old faces and also some new faces to the village and a holiday maker too. Together you raised over £200 that will go towards the running of the Globe Hall. So, many thanks to you all from the Globe Hall Committee for your kind donations.

Special thanks go out to Mick Moore for getting the room sorted for us and also to Woodlands for providing fish and chips (other options are available!)

We look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Cheers
