The roadworks have now moved further up towards Henley Square.
Currently access is now available from the Fiveways junction on the main rd towards Church meadows.
Ashbocking road is now closed just past Church Meadows to Pond End

Hopefully this is better for access to the Community centre.

Dear Residents
Despite many emails from the Centre, Parish Council & the County Councillor the roadworks for City fibre have started today.
Currently and until the end of the week - as far as we are aware, the Ashbocking road is closed from Fiveways to Church Meadows
They will then slowly move toward Henley Square over the next 8 weeks! - We have asked for a moving one way traffic lights but sadly this has fallen on deaf ears!
Currently the only limited access into the centre & into the village via Ashbocking rd is the Main road to the Cross keys pub, then right into Clay Lane and then right again back into Henley ignoring the 'road closed' signs and the barriers! Quite a long route!
The Parish Council will continue to put Suffolk highways under pressure for a better solution if possible.
