Congratulations to Simon Shaw, winner of the Magini Sheild for close up magic at our competition last night. And well done to Phil Busby for a very close second place and recipient of the Maggie Sheild.

On Monday 6th October the Ipswich Magical Society holds its close-up competition.
Everyone is welcome to witness the best magicians in the area competing for the Magini Sheild for outright winner, and the Maggie for runner up.
Why not come along to see exciting magic performed right before your eyes.

A great lecture by Lee Curtis on Monday.
A lecture of two halves.
The first half was a true masterclass in entertainment.
The second half was a techies dream. Lee explained how he uses AI, his sound/microphone set up, and even a bit of 3D printing.
A lecture for everyone, disguised as a children’s lecture.

Lee, a winner of many competitions within our club and finalist in the Uk Family Entertainer competition, is a very busy Children’s Entertainer.
A true international entertainer, with an energetic style and a love for entertainment, we are lucky to have him as a member of our society.
