Here’s a midweek jewelled treat… This year we’re also welcoming Pear Drop Jewellery to KH for North East Open Studios.

Our general open days are finished for 2026. A huge thank you to everyone who has visited us this season. It’s been a pleasure welcoming you to Kemnay House and sharing tea, cake, art and history.
It’s now time to get the gallery ready for North East Open Studios.

Nearly the weekend, the rain has stopped and the bees are buzzing…The house is open today and tomorrow, 1 to 5pm for the final 2 general open house days of the summer season.

Wonderful warm weather for our first August open day yesterday. It was great to welcome 2 lovely groups of guests for tea and tours.
The Peacocks were even out in the garden! But not the bird variety… Open again today, 1pm to 5pm.

Starts to get ready for North East Open Studios … The books have arrived and will be available to pick up from our gallery & tearoom for our August open days. Will be revealing work by our amazing creators over next few weeks. 🖼️ 🎨

Always a lovely venue, and great art too!

I have an exhibition showing at the The Bennachie Visitor Centre throughout August showcasing our wild outdoors. Aberdeenshire hills, pineforests and their inhabitants, night and day. Great coffee too! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
