The Gallery at Kemnay House

The Gallery at Kemnay House Historic house tours, garden, woodland walk, tearoom and gallery/shop. We have pop-up exhibitions and events throughout the year.

Set in a beautiful, Scottish manor house near Aberdeen and on the Castle Trail. We open at designated times of the year for house tours and exhibitions, but we're happy to arrange visits by appointment. You can also purchase work that's shown on Facebook direct from the artist by e.mailing us. We'll contact you as soon as possible. Please see our website for further information.

A big thank you to all who visited us over the past week of NEOS (both actually and virtually). We had a fantastic time chatting with visitors, regular and new, while celebrating creativity.

Our doors will be open again in December (5th, 6th & 7th) for a pop-up Christmas shop selling gifts made with love by a selection of local artists and makers.
We’ll keep you posted on our preparations. 🤗

It’s been a fantastic start to North East Open Studios and a big thank you to everyone who has visited us so far.
We’re closed for a couple of days now, so we can visit some of the other amazing creatives taking part.
However, we’re open again from Friday through to Sunday, 11am to 4pm each day, and look forward to seeing you then. 🙏🖼️

Our Story

Kemnay House has been home to the Burnetts’ of Kemnay for over 300 years. For the past 3 generations artists have lived and worked here, so it only seemed fitting to turn some of our beautiful Georgian rooms into a shop and gallery, celebrating Scottish art and promoting local craftspeople. We open at designated times of the year for special events and exhibitions, but we're happy to arrange visits by appointment outwit these times.
