VERY IMPORTANT

Hello everyone - This post might come as a bit of a shock to you and I am very sorry!

It's breaking my heart as I am writing this! I have worked so hard since January, 6 months now I have been building my brand Sarah's Country Blooms. I followed my heart, I love the way that flowers make you feel, and I definitely love creating beautiful things with them and putting smiles on people's faces!

Unfortunately- as I'm sure you are all aware, the cost of living alongside the cost of materials, flowers, business overheads etc at the same time as unforeseen circumstances and being a busy mum of two little's I have had no choice but to wind down my little business to a stop. The government is most certainly not on the side of small businesses and actually helping us make a living these days. I was aware of this when I started, however I did want to at least try. This was always my absolute dream. I am devastated and believe me, I have exhausted every avenue as to try and carry on and make this work.

I am not going to let this take away the last 6 months work from me though, I have loved every minute of designing my bouquets, and other arrangements for all of my lovely customers older and new. Maybe at some point in the future I will be back - who knows! I am going to keep my page on social media, however I just won't be a trading business. Don't unfollow me as if I do come back I still would love you all to still be around!

For all of you who have bouquets booked in the next few weeks - I am more than happy to honour your orders. Please feel free to get in touch though if you would rather go elsewhere and I will issue a full refund no questions asked. My flower companions customers- I will be in touch with you in due course.

I am so very sorry for this and I can't thank you all enough for all of your kindness, support and placing orders with Sarah's Country Blooms. It has meant the world to me. I can't believe the following I have gained on social media, I never even dreamed it would get to this point anyhow!

I have continued posting on social media the last week as I didn't want to go down without a fight and I wanted to leave doing what I love!

Thank you again to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart!

Hopefully see you all again in the future.

This sign really made me stop and think…

Imagine if every adult in the UK spent just £5 a week with a local independent business instead of a huge chain or online retailer. The difference that would make to our high streets would be incredible.

Small businesses aren’t just shops. They’re families paying mortgages, local people employing local people, sponsoring football teams, donating raffle prizes, supporting schools, and helping charities in the community.

I know times are tough, and I’m certainly not saying don’t shop in supermarkets or online we all do it. But if you can choose local every now and again, even for something small, it really does make a difference.

So from one small business owner to everyone who has ever walked through our door, ordered online, liked a post, shared a post or recommended Nikki’s Fleurs… thank you. We genuinely wouldn’t be here without you. ❤️

I don’t believe there’s any real ‘rules’ to follow when it comes to flowers - you just have to put your heart into it. Yes there are certain methods and techniques to use that do help. However, the whole beauty of flowers is that they are not meant to ‘last as long as possible’, they are beautiful yet fleeting. They bring you into the present. Enjoy and savour them whilst they are blooming. Capture them in photos, use them to reflect human emotions as gifts. Flowers are so expressive, I love how creativity knows no limits, and that dosent stop with flowering. Each stem I choose for a bouquet is chosen with love, passion & thoughtfulness. I love the expression on people’s faces when they receive flowers. That in itself is priceless- and it’s a big reason behind why I do what I do. I’m building a brand based on feeling, being kind to nature, and enjoying how effortlessly beautiful flowers are ❤️💐🐝🌿
