An impromptu catch up with good friends last weekend led to a few unplanned pictures and the best day out! I have never seen a grown man get so excited about flowers before!

So anyone looking for something to do this weekend should check out Loch Ness Pumpkins. A little bird tells me there is still some availability . A pick your own event it offers a fun fulled day out for all.

Its a great place for day out with the kids, a dander with Grandma or quite the romantic spot for a date! The most scrumptious food and drinks are also available in the barn from Chridhe. The barn has the most amazing rugged charm and is adorned in hay bales, soft lighting and old crockery that adds real vintage charm. Next door you'll find another barn laced in fairy lights and full of ride ons for the children to enjoy. Hay bales and archery can also be found in the grounds and use of all is inclusive in your very reasonable entry fee.

So check these guys out if your looking for something to do this weekend, you won't be disappointed!

Introducing Mr & Mrs Smith!! 😍❤️❤️

What an amazing day they had!

This was an extra special wedding for us, having known them both since they were wee t***s! The wedding and reception took place in the garden of the brides childhood Milton home, and couldnt have been more perfect! 'Home' was very much a wonderful theme of the day and the pictures are a great reflection of the wonderful beauty they grew up with.

We had the upmost pleasure of photographing Rab & Rebecca's wedding on Saturday! These two were the most relaxed couple ever!

Married on their own home turf, this wedding was planned and grown from the heart. They converted the working cow barn into a rustic venue that took your breath away, adorning it in twinkling fairy lights and dressing it with incredible flowers and foliage. There was nothing these two hadn't thought of including using the stacked hay shed as a wonderful play area for the kids that was filled with giant games to play.

Above all, love, laughter & family played the biggest part in their day and they laughed from start to finish, it was truly a beautiful reflection of what a wedding is all about. Thank you both for letting us share the magic in the wonderful day you created and for the memories made for us all ❤️

The beautiful Kipfmillers, showing us the real value of photography.

Its hard to believe looking back but this beautiful lady whom I have the delight of calling a friend was diagnosed with Leukemia days before we took these pictures! Those beautiful locks were to be lost to a gruelling chemotherapy regime, a bone marrow transplant was to follow, the toughest challenge of all was months in hospital, away from her beautiful children and rock of a husband.

It seems apt to take this time with Nikki's permission to share some images and ask people not to be complacent when it comes to your health, to note any changes in your body that are new to you.

When Nikki asked us to capture some moments not only was it a total honour to do so but it was a chance to get behind our SLR's after a significant break. So I am now piggy backing on this post and holding hands with Nikki to share that I too have had my own personal cancer journey, diagnosed in late 2018 with Triple Negative breast Cancer. I had 6 months of chemo, two operations and a month of radiotherapy. My favoured piece of advice has became 'love normal' you really do not know when this can be ripped from you.

Like so many others Nikki and I would love for our worries to be the lack of matching socks in the washing pile, the hefty bill that lands on the door matt just before Christmas. I know everything in life is relative but a cancer diagnosis or any life changing illness or loss really does shake up our priorities and remind us of what really is important.

Nikki and I are both doing well following our treatment and the one thing we shall take from this is the true wonder of 'life'

I hope you all enjoy a peruse at the pictures I've chosen to share, they totally re-itterate how amazing photography is, freezing a moment in time and loving it forever! Isnt that incredible we can do that!❤️

So our advice tonight is never to be complacent with body changes, love normal, you really have no idea how special it is until its gone and lastly take pictures! Life changes, we change, we are so lucky to be able to freeze moments in time and enjoy them forever so please do it, you'll thank me later!
