Unlocking investment and growth for women-led businesses means colouring outside the lines and doing it differently because none of this is easy or fits neatly into a pitch deck or tick box.

We’re just getting on with the work, and we want to take as many people as possible on that journey with us.

In that spirit, I was delighted to catch up with Angus Campbell, Chair of Highlands and Islands Enterprise, yesterday. He gets it, he cares deeply about it, and he shares our determination to get the job done!

Our partnership with the team at Highlands and Islands Enterprise, along with organisations such as Highland Business Women, ASB Association of Scottish Businesswomen, Women's Enterprise Scotland, The Scottish National Investment Bank is rooted in mutual unapologetic ambition for our business community and place.

We have been thinking a lot about mentorship and how we make it simple and impactful, so building on the success of the growth conversations Nicola + Rebecca (The Scottish National Investment Bank) have been having, we are

1. You put an afternoon aside to offer to chat to other women who could do with some of your expertise.

2. You have a 20/30 min chat.

3. And hopefully along the way, you get to feel the benefit, too. Be that in us advertising your office hours slot, getting mentorship experience and hopefully some good business along the way.
