Most mums I photograph tell me the same thing - they're always the ones behind the camera.

Taking the photos.
Keeping the memories.
Rarely in the frame with their kids.

And somewhere between everyday life and mum guilt, there's this feeling that time is moving too fast -
that you should remember it all, even when you're tired, distracted, or just doing your best.

You can’t fake reactions like this.

Moments like this are why I love filming wedding evenings - the live band kicking in, the real reactions, and everyone completely in it. The kind of moments that happen when everyone forgets the camera is there.
