A few weeks ago we welcomed six lovely ladies into our HQ for a hand tie workshop, to spend the morning playing with flowers and learning the spiral technique, with blooms grown just 20 minutes away. If you fancy joining us next time, it’s 18th July but there are several more in the autumn too! 💐

Lately I’ve been seeing so many more stills on Instagram and it makes me SO happy. 🙋🏻‍♀️ My name is Grace and I hate reels. I love looking at the details in photos. I love the stillness, the quiet reflection and the calm they bring to my mind. I’m not made for flashy videos and hours of editing. So apart from the odd reel, we’re sticking firmly with the trusty photograph.

A little photo dump (I hate that word, alternative suggestions below please 🤭) of the last few weeks on our Somerset flower farm. My husband had a week off of his own work to help (hero) and we got the new dahlias in, the polytunnel bedded out and lots of the annuals in the ground. Meanwhile we’re harvesting every day - poppies, foxgloves, craspedia, sweet william, peonies & so much more. There was so much self seeded hesperis that now we’re just letting the bees have it. 🐝 Next week we’re expecting to start cutting the tanacetums and scabious whilst madly sowing more sunflowers for the late summer. All whilst battling a heatwave and a caterpillar invasion on the verbascum!🤣

This heat is blowing the peonies in our field! So we’ve picked what’s left and popped them in the cold store. We’d like to get them into the hands of people who will love them, so tomorrow you can grab a very special offer!

Some days I’m too tired to think of a caption. After planting 100 odd dahlias, harvesting & flowering for a party, I’m done! So here’s a gorgeous planted bowl from a few weeks back, another great gift idea instead of cut blooms 💚

What I love about our new HQ shop (although it’s already been 8 months!) at is the amount of space! We have a glorious garden, a shop many times the size of before and so much more space for plants - which is never a bad thing!
