This time next week, will be the 60th Horton Flower Show. There's still time to enter your marrow, dahlia or cupcakes (Entries must be in by Tuesday 5th). Pick up a schedule from Nina in the Post Office or find a copy to print at home on the Village website. Followed on Sunday by the United Family Service at 11am

HORTON VILLAGE HALL NEEDS A NEW BOOKING SECRETARY

After almost 16 years in the role, our bookings secretary has decided to step down this year. We have been unsuccessful in finding a volunteer for this role, so the committee has decided to advertise it as a paid role.

The role of bookings secretary entails complete oversight of all hall bookings, including collating a monthly accounts sheet on a spreadsheet. The role also includes opening and locking up the hall on occasions, but there is a small team who help with this aspect.

The new bookings secretary will take over on 1st October, will be paid £200 per month, and will have continued support from the existing bookings secretary.
