🌟We're pleased to announce audition and casting information for the next three shows of our 2026/27 season🌟
🏚️Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekov, adapted by Conor McPherson: directed by Yvette Huddleston
👉Casting: Saturday 26th September, 1:30pm
👉 Performances: 17-22 May 2027
📃4f 4m. A fresh, vital and contemporary resonance is brought forward in this new adaptation of Chekov's classic comedy-drama. In a rundown country estate, an unexpected return throws a family into chaos, bringing long-buried emotions and resentments to the surface...
💃Stepping Out by Richard Harris: directed by Jay Cundell Walker
👉Casting: Saturday 26th September, 2:30pm beginner tap, 3:00pm experienced tap, 3:35pm script
👉 Performances: 10-19 Jun 2027
📃8f 2m. Teacher Mavis and her (rather terrifying) pianist Mrs Fraser have a class of begginers to transform into fully-fledged tap dancers.
Overcoming fall-outs, misunderstandings, and LOTS of tap-dancing, will this disparate group be able to overcome their differences in time for a stunning dance finale?
🫂Good Things by Loz Lochhead: directed by Miranda Armitage
👉Casting: Wednesday 30th September, 7:30pm
👉 Performances: 12-17 Jul 2027
📃2f 2m. A bittersweet comedy set in a charity shop. Recent divorcee Susan is facing challenges both at home and at work, where a colourful cast of characters (all played by just 2 actors) mean no two days are the same!
