It’s been a slightly breezy one on The Grove today… and by slightly breezy, we mean “hold onto the gazebo before it ends up halfway down The Grove” type of breezy 😅

Wind gusts over 30mph definitely kept all of us our toes today, but we're still here and still doing our best to keep everything from taking off!!!

It looks like its another windy day tomorrow, but most of the usual Saturday traders will be back, smiling and serving as per usual! 🙂

We had a few unexpected guests at The Ilkley Market today… 🦆😂

Not sure if they came for coffee, empanadas, flowers or just a wander down The Grove, but they were very welcome either way.

After last weekend’s very typical Yorkshire weather, we’re hoping for a slightly kinder Friday and Saturday this week 😅

One of the quirks of being a market trader is that you quickly become a weather expert, and find yourself constantly refreshing the Met Office website to see how wet you’re going to get putting up your gazebo! 😆

Anyhow, wet or dry, we’ll be back on The Grove tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone again - whether you’re popping by for a coffee, something to eat, a browse, or just a quick hello.

Friday at The Ilkley Market is always good fun. It’s smaller and more relaxed than Saturday, but that’s part of the charm - more time to chat, have a laugh and get to know the people who come down.

Saturday was sadly a bit too wet for the traders this week, so here’s a little look back at Friday instead. Small, friendly and full of lovely local traders ❤️

We’re here on The Grove today with a proper mix of sunshine, rain, and all the fun of trading outdoors 😅

Today we’ve got Buzz Coffee, Empanada Express and Ripples of Yorkshire here at The Ilkley Market.

We had a little scare with the power this morning and thought Ilkley might be without hot coffee for a while… but don’t worry, Buzz Coffee is up and serving ☕😂

Come down, say hello, grab a coffee, an empanada, and have a look at the lovely gemstones and gifts from Ripples.
We’re here until 4pm today.
