I love making wreaths, as many of you, it’s carefully selecting components and create a piece of art!

All stems have been dried in-house, this beautiful arrangement contains faded Hydrangea heads, the papery seed pods of Ami Majus and Nigella, a little Gypsophila, silvery Eucalyptus, Limonium and pops of golden Achillea, to name a view…

No two dried wreaths are ever quite the same, the materials decide as much as I do. This one’s is truly a one-off, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

📣 New for this year, we are introducing a 16” statement wreath workshop, especially designed for gates, porches and larger doors. With our step-by-step guidance from our team and Petra, you’ll learn the skills to create a long-lasting, beautifully crafted display, though as these bigger wreaths need extra room at the bench, class sizes are smaller, and spaces are limited.

Meet Petra, the creative force behind Erica Berry Flowers in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. Dutch-born and trained in the art of continental floristry in Aalsmeer, the beating heart of the global flower trade, Petra carries a heritage of four decades craftsmanship few can rival. In 2019, she left a successful corporate career to return to her true passion.

With an instinctive eye for natural beauty and an unrivalled knowledge of flowers from around the world, Petra procures fresh blooms, exceptional plants, and the finest artificial florals, ceramics, porcelain, baskets, wood and glassware, each selected with the same discernment and creative flair. Just to flag for anyone affected: the parking spaces in front of Erica Berry Flowers, Quinta and Friends of Ham have been closed off by Bradford Council today, from midnight until 6pm.

There was no advance notice, which made for a difficult start to the day. It would be great if we could share updates like this with each other going forward, so we can all keep our customers informed about what’s happening on Wells Road.
