🙌📣 We are very excited to announce a SUPER-NEW fundraising event for 2024! 📣🙌

Our first ever Topless Swim 2024 will take place at the stunning Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe on Sunday November 3 🏊‍♀️💦

This female-only event will be raising money to support breast cancer care at North Devon District Hospital.

It’ll be refreshing. It’ll be empowering. And we hope it will be a brilliant way to promote body positivity and raise money for the hospital’s breast cancer team AND the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Fern Centre, North Devon’s cancer wellbeing centre 🌿💜

Topless Swim 2024 has been inspired by North Devon’s ‘Topless Runner’, Louise Bernadette Butcher, who runs topless to promote body positivity following a double mastectomy in 2022. Louise and her family have been supported by the Fern Centre and we want to build on her powerful message, and do even more to raise awareness for breast cancer by promoting unity, empowerment and body positivity.

Registration is £20 and is limited to 250 women. The ticket price includes entry to the iconic Tunnels Beach; a goody bag; a bespoke event bobble hat hand made by our awesome volunteers; and a mug of hot chocolate to warm up after the dip ☕

All participants, staff, volunteers, life guards, entertainment and first aiders will be female.
