Our young artists at After School Club have been creating totem animal collages, using templates to cut out and layer shapes, then bringing their designs together with carefully chosen colour combinations. 🎨
There’s plenty of skill behind all that cutting and sticking! The children have been developing their fine motor skills, practising scissor control and exploring how different colours work together—all while making their animals their own. 🧡

From Minecraft to masterpieces—one square at a time!
Steve from Minecraft was the inspiration as our Home Ed KS2 artists (ages 7–11) explored pixel art portraiture!
We warmed up by practising colouring pencil techniques, then put our rulers to work to build those distinctive blocky faces and features. Bold Sharpie outlines brought the designs into focus, ready for colour to bring them to life!
A brilliant mix of careful measuring, pencil control and creativity—with plenty of personality packed into every portrait!

Join us for six weeks of creativity in our warm, calm and welcoming garden studio in Godmanchester. We’d love to welcome familiar faces and new young artists!

We’ll explore a different activity each week, trying out materials and techniques with plenty of room for individual ideas — plus a little seasonal creativity as Christmas approaches!

November / December Saturday Art Club — booking now open!
Join us for a new block of creative Saturdays in our warm and welcoming garden studio in Godmanchester. We’d love to see familiar faces and welcome new young artists too!

Saturdays, 10:00–11:15am
We’ll be exploring materials and techniques, developing skills and bringing our own ideas to life — with some seasonal and festive creativity along the way!

Our Arts Award students have been busy completing their final pieces, inspired by the artists they’ve been researching this half term!
It’s lovely to see their research taking shape in their artwork, with each young artist choosing their own materials and bringing their own ideas and personal style to the piece.
So much creativity, care and concentration — we can’t wait to share the finished results!

Colour, texture and a little perseverance! 🧶🌈
Our after school art club artists have been busy with their stick weaving project, choosing colours and exploring how different yarns added texture to their creations.
Getting started was a little tricky for some, but they persevered and did brilliantly once they got into the swing of it—all while giving those fine motor skills a workout!
Lots of lovely individual choices and plenty to feel proud of.
