Blokes & Blooms – Aftrr a wonderful response to our summer workshop Bagden Hall Hotel
We are now pleased to announce our very own
Blokes and Blooms festive wreath workshop
Join Liz from The Watering Can Florist at Bagden Hall Hotel for a festive edition of Blokes & Blooms — an evening of greenery, creativity, good company and Christmas cheer.
Wednesday 9th December
6.30–9pm
Bagden Hall Hotel, Denby Dale
£49.50 per person
You’ll create your very own festive door wreath from scratch, using beautiful seasonal foliage and decorations. No experience is needed — Liz will guide you through every step, and all materials and tuition are included, along with something wonderful from the bar. 🍻🎄
But Blokes & Blooms is about more than just flowers. ❤️
10% of the proceeds from this workshop will be donated to Denby Dale Men’s Shed and The Huddersfield Mission, supporting the fantastic work both organisations do within our local community.
Come on your own, bring a mate, your dad, son, brother or workmate — everyone is welcome.

On Saturday 4th July, we will be hosting our Blokes & Blooms workshop at the Bagden Hall Hotel Summer Fayre. The event is being held in aid of The Mens shed in Denby Dale, and Huddersfield Mission a fantastic couple of local charities that provide a welcoming space for men to connect, share skills, combat loneliness, and support their wellbeing.
Blokes & Blooms encourages men to come together through floristry, creativity, conversation, and community. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own hand-tied bouquets while learning new skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at Bagden Hall Hotel .

🌸 Our first Flower Club visit to Fox Farm Flowers in Oxspring was a wonderful success! 🌸
The ladies enjoyed a fabulous evening wandering through the flower fields and hand-picking beautiful blooms grown by Kate at foxfarmflowers
Using their freshly gathered flowers, everyone created stunning bouquets in their own unique style to take home and enjoy. It was a lovely opportunity to relax, be creative, and celebrate the beauty of locally grown flowers.

As a florist this is such an achievement to be invited ..obviously i have accepted .
