We know we announced our closure earlier in the year and, after so many kind offers of help and support, instead of closing completely we decided to continue as an off-the-rail boutique only.

Not bridal related just a bit of real life

Ladies of a certain age — a little real talk 💛

HRT can be an absolute game-changer (and for many, it truly is brilliant), but it’s not without risks. Over the past 24 hours I’ve had a bit of a shock and have been diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lung).

Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and sought medical attention quickly — and that made all the difference. But it does mean I’m now facing the possibility of long-term blood thinners.

First instruction from the doctors? Stop the HRT immediately… which opens up a whole new chapter of “joys” down the line 🙃

Moral of the story — listen to your body, don’t ignore symptoms, and never feel silly for getting checked out. It could save your life.

And as for life without HRT… well… fingers crossed my boys survive what’s coming next 🤣🔥

Stay safe, look after yourselves, and check in with your GP if anything feels off 💛
