So we can have a break before autumn starts, there is a change to our opening hours this week. Today we are open until 1pm. Next week we are open Monday. Tuesday Thursday and Friday 9am to 3pm. Saturday the usual 9am to 2pm. We are closed Wednesday. We hope you are all having a fabulous summer in the glorious heat. I am pleased to say its cooler today. Relief!!!

Lorraine has asked me to put this post on. There's been a few tears today but a lot of laughter too and many memories shared. Enjoy your retirement Lorraine, you have worked hard for it, it's well deserved.

After 25 years, Lorraine has decided to hang up her floristry scissors and let retirement commence. She has been part of the shop and the village for quarter of a century. Her last day in the shop will be Saturday 28th March. We are going to miss her greatly, after so many years it will feel very different in the shop. Opening times could be on an 'ish' basis here onwards. Do you know anyone who has only ever been late to work twice in all those years? A big 'Thank you' Lorraine for being a part of our journey for so long, we all wish you a long and happy retirement. ###
