One of the most common things I hear from parents who are trying to re-engage a child who has switched off is this: "We tried for a bit but they just gave up after five minutes." Five minutes is not giving up. Five minutes is a victory. When a child has spent months or years associating learning with pressure, failure or stress, their nervous system has learned to treat anything that looks like learning as a threat. You cannot override that with a two hour session and a structured timetable. You rebuild it slowly, with small, positive, pressure-free experiences repeated consistently over time. This is not a concession. This is the strategy. The micro-activity is small by design. One tiny thing. One question. One experiment. One silly challenge. Not because you are lowering your expectations but because you understand that right now, starting is the hardest part. Your job is to make starting feel safe. For some children, knowing an activity has a defined end point helps them feel safe enough to begin. For others, even that might feel like pressure. In which case, just start, stay close and follow their lead. What you are doing with every small positive experience is rebuilding the association between learning and good feelings. That takes time. It takes consistency. It takes not giving up after a week because it does not look like much is happening. It is happening. You just cannot see it yet. Try this today. Say "I've got something I want to show you. It'll only take a minute." No explanation. No learning objective. Just one small, low-pressure invitation. Small is not a compromise. Small is the whole point.

It's about time! Nearly all our parties feature bouncy castles and up until now we have collaborated with other providers but we decided now was the time! Cannot believe how quickly the summer dates are filling. Perfect for summer garden parties or church halls and community centres! DM to book.
