We’ve had to make one of the hardest decisions since starting the North of England Wedding Awards.
Over recent weeks, some couples have experienced problems when trying to vote. Despite our best efforts — and even bringing in a new web developer — we can’t guarantee that every single vote has been counted properly.
Because fairness and integrity are at the heart of these awards, we can’t allow them to go ahead this year knowing that the results might not be a true reflection.
This is heartbreaking for us, as so much time and energy has gone into these awards, not just from our team but from the amazing judges who give so much each year.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the awards — this isn’t the end, and when they return, they’ll be stronger than ever.
