We're always looking for some we've never had even if we've had the distillers before so we've got a new style from Ardbeg, a new Japanese, Lagavulin is back and Dalwhinnie is back but as a 15 yr

We've got a couple of changes on our cask line up to kick start the weekend

Couple of new Kirkstalls on which we haven't had, Nectar being a honey pale ale... and yes it does taste of honey! As well as Ascension which is floral and dry. Both being nice and crystal clear... but if you love a really soupy full of flavour bad boii then check out the Mutual Disorder by Anarchy, Pivovar and Tapped. A bright citrus, grapefruit, passionfruit, tropical crazily hopped hazy IPA

Available till they run off (and they're pretty popular right now!)

We've been peering over the metal fence for a little while now watching the finishing touches to the space

Theres talk of it being ready and finished in September in time for the library to open (21st September) so when the space opens and you all check out the new library space then pop over to ours for a pint and you can tell us what you think

We're really excited for all of this to be finished, including the food and drink hall, as we can see it really helping out our end of town and making it a place to be social while connecting up the routes to all the pubs, bars and venues in town.

Couple of new cask and keg to tie us over for the start of the month

We were begged to order some chop and change from Vocation and after making the sales rep buy us a couple of pints we've ended up with not just chop and change but also mini monster which is a table beer (since kernel table beer is going down so well)

We've also got Lervig to go on after our Pohjala and some Saltaire

On the bar soon enough but if you come in to sup some pints they'll be on alot sooner! Open from 12pm till 10pm today

Join us tomorrow and every Wednesday for the County quiz, quizzers or just want a night off and a laugh there's something for everyone

And it's not just any quiz, it's the first of the month which means it's Dobson's week off and Liam will be hosting..... which is interesting to say the least
