What is 7 in 7?
It's a simple sponsored walk to raise valuable funds for MND Association.
Date: 25th June 2023
Where: 4Core, Huddersfield road, Waterloo, HD5 0AL
Time: 10am - 3pm
What is it?
A minimum of a 1 mile walk to cater for all abilities.
However, as with all our previous events, there is a twist. We want you in fancy dress/ glamourous/ costume etc.
To cater for all we have set a few options too.
Option 1 - On the Sunday, you can come and join us and walk the 1 mile, in your own time, alone or with friends.
Option 2 - Walk 7 miles in a week and join us on the Sunday to walk the last mile.
Option 3 - Walk 7 miles a day for 7 days. Join us on the Sunday to do your last 7 miles.
Sponsors - We will have just 1 link that everybody uses so it is easier to see how much we all raise.
Abilities - This event is been held indoors so no bother what the weather is like, it will go ahead. It is also wheelchair friendly so come down and join us do your mile. From toddler to very mature, anybody can join in the walk. Use a walking frame? No worries. Use it. Need an arm to lean on? We will sort one for you. Need a rest after 1 lap? We have seating and a cafe/ bar.
We are also opening the event to local businesses and using a whole pitch for traders to display and sell their goods. A small fee applies. So before, during or after your walk, have a browse round the stores and support local businesses.
