We were at the &ITAwards on Friday night and, while we didn’t come home with the trophy this time, being shortlisted for Mid-Sized Event Agency of the Year gave us a moment to stop and reflect on just how far Shore Events has come.
There are hundreds of brilliant event agencies across the UK, so being on the list for this award is something we’re incredibly proud of.
Just a few years ago, Shore Events was a team of four, working from a shared office in Shoreham.
Today, we’re a team of more than 20, in our new office in central Hove, delivering events around the world.
Earlier this year, we won Best Incentive at the micebook Awards, and now we’ve been shortlisted for Mid-Sized Event Agency of the Year.
It’s been quite a journey - quite a year - and none of it could happen without the people around us.
- A huge thank you to our industry peers and colleagues who voted for us. We don’t know who you are (which makes thanking you slightly tricky!), but we know there were many of you, and it warmed our hearts.
- To our suppliers and partners around the world: thank you for being such an important part of what we do and for helping us bring our ideas to life.
- To our brilliant team, thank you for the creativity, energy, hard work and care you bring to every project. This recognition belongs to all of you.
- And to our incredible clients: thank you for your trust and faith in us. You give our team the opportunity to do what we love — working together to create vibrant, dynamic and memorable events that deliver for you… and occasionally you enable us to win an award along the way! 🏆
A final shout-out to PortAventura World Raising Stones Events DMC and Meet in Ireland who generously hosted Chris, Jody and Fiona on the night.
We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, but we’re even more excited about what comes next.
