🎤 Please can we normalise couples doing a singalong at their wedding?!

Sophie and Ross were married at the stunning Alexander Weddings Tipi Venue in the glorious sunshine (the rain actually held off!) in front of their family and friends. Also, that tipi backdrop is amazing! 😮

🛶 We had a boat trip, incredible speeches, and even an 8 piece ska band in the evening!

As a wedding filmmaker I couldn't have asked for a better couple and wedding. Everyone was so welcoming, and the footage shows just how much fun everyone had.

I MADE IT! 🤘

A couple of weeks ago, I took a punt on entering The Wedding Industry Awards, the biggest weddings awards do in the country that ALL suppliers can enter.

⚡️Today, I received an email saying I've made it to the regional finals for wedding videography in the North West!

So this is just a quick message to say thank you to all those lovely couples who voted for me. It means a lot. ❤️

This is my first time entering such a competition, so to be able to say I'm in the regional finals alongside some incredibly talented people is amazing.

Now, onto the finals themselves next month!

"I never really cry!" 👀

Or so James had told us a couple of hours earlier.

⚡️James and Catherine were married last week at the stunning Bashall Barn, and oh man, what a wedding this was!

🤘 A lovely outdoor wedding ceremony, magicians, loads of singing and dancing, and of course, their closest family and friends who were clearly having the best day.

From Lanzarote with love ❤️

A week ago today, Sarah and Jonny were married at the beautiful port of Puerto Calero, Lanzarote, alongside their closest family and friends.

This is just a wee snippet of their day, but what a fun (and incredibly hot) day it was. I nearly went in the sea just to cool down 🤣

Plenty more to come from this soon, but for now, I hope this collection of footage puts a smile on your faces. Thanks again for having me there 🤘

It's true, I get all the best couples ❤️🤘

Thank you so much to all my past couples who have chosen me to capture their wedding day and thank you to everyone who has booked me for theirs so far.

I'm only into year 3 of doing weddings professionally, but 2025 and 2026 are going to be huge for my small business, so follow me and come along for the ride!

This isn't meant to come across as smug or a brag, but it means so much to recieve messages like these after I've poured my heart and soul into making unique wedding films for people with the hope that they'll watch them over and over again, as well as share with family and friends for many many years to come.

🎬 EVE & KIERAN 22.12.24 ✨️ HIGHLIGHTS FILM

Quite possibly the loveliest couple I've ever met, and I had the absolute pleasure of filming their wedding 3 days before Christmas in 2024, at one of my favourite venues, Bashall Weddings

For those who weren't there, a bit of context might be needed for the start, but right after they signed the marriage certificate, Eve and Kieran clearly couldn't wait to celebrate, so they walked off before the registrar had finished.
Personally, I think they just wanted another round of applause for when they re-entered the room! 🤣

As you might have guessed, the weather wasn't really on our side (I couldn't even fly the drone it was SO WINDY!), but that didn't dampen everyone's spirits! There's just something about a wedding with a touch of Christmas magic in the air, I reckon! 🎄

Thanks again to Eve & Kieran for choosing me to capture your day, and I hope this film lets you relive your incredible day for many, many years to come!
