Ahhh the wonderful yet expectation-laden, opinion heavy, all-eyes-on-me and don’t forget likely expensive moment of saying “yes” to your wedding dress.

Everyone arrives at their decision differently. Here at Bride and the Party, we promise that there really is no one size fits all. Maybe you will recognise yourself in one of these, maybe you don’t know which one you will be yet.

Some come in, be yourself and have some fun trying on beautiful dresses. We’ve got your back and who knows, hopefully the dress you will fall in love with too 🤍

Happy Pride Night to everyone celebrating in Horsham tonight!

We celebrate inclusivity here at Bride and the Party and have welcomed many from the lgbtq+ community for bridal, bridesmaids and prom appointments.

We may not always get it right (cue Rebecca saying “tell us about your your husband-to-be” to the gay bride✖️ after coaching the team NOT to make assumptions themselves) but know we are allies in our hearts.

However you celebrate, have fun and know you’re welcome 🏳️‍🌈

Before the yes moment, sometimes you need time to think.

Perhaps time to sit in a robe, sipping something lovely with your besties. (You get that with us).

It might be a moment to pause and flick through your photos (yes we let you take photos but know we give the caveat that a quick snap will never truly do you or the dress justice).

Maybe you need to go away and come back again. After all, for most of us the outlay on a wedding dress is substantial (we are normal, family people, living normal lives too, so we get it).

Soon we will be preparing for our 2027/28 brides - yes, we truly do have to plan this far in advance 📆

The designers are already inviting us to see their new collections. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it 😜

So, in your opinion, which wedding dress designers do you think we absolutely have to have?
