I’m continuing to see requests for ‘family style’ dinner set ups at weddings, and I think the reason is this…

A meal (and a drink) is a moment shared. On a wedding day, it’s the epitome of that. Your family and friends all together, mixing in ways they may not normally, and what brings them together in that moment - besides the two of you, of course?

Food. An excuse to chat, to slow down, to mingle and to get to know one another.

P.S. I do not know the outcome of photo no. 3, but I don’t recall seeing a guest coated in wine, so we can only assume it was a successful challenge
