HSCC Touring Car Legends from Brands GP 14th July

Last Sunday at the Brands Hatch Superprix we had a small but quality grid out on the the amazing GP circuit. With good weather and good people although the grid was small the the smiles where big.

Darren Fileding claimed pole and the race win in his stunning BMW E30 M3 followed by Toby Partridge in 2nd place in his BMW E30 M3 with Shane Brereton in 3rd in his Bastos Rover SD1.

After the success of our first event now we head to arguably the greatest circuit in the UK, Brands Hatch GP. Two days of track action from the flame-throwing golden eras of touring car racing.

The HSCC Touring Car Legends series kicked off at Donington over the weekend with quality cars and quality people.

We would like to thank all that took part and supported the series, drivers, preparers and enthusiasts. Over the weekend we had some very helpful discussions with all attending and we have taken onboard all feedback to produce a healthy and competitive grid for all wishing to race their Group 2 and Group A cars. In doing so we will be making the relavant changes that owners and preparers have asked for.

In doing so going forward we will be introducing a perfomance based pit stop time adjustment for the Sunday feature race. This will promote closer race throughout the grid.

Changes for the RS500s will be made to the eligiblity criteria the main point being the cut off date now to be set to end of 1990. Details of this will published in due course. This will be conducted in collaboration with the owners and preparers of the cars.

HSCC Touring Car Legends - Class of 2024

Ian & Max Goff Monaco Winner will be attending with their RS500 wearing the iconic Watson’s Water livery of Macau.

The duo have competed in pretty much every historic grid out there over the years. The car is now prepared by and we expect to see this at the sharp end over the weekend.
