🐻🍯 Sometimes a customer asks for something you’ve wanted to try for ages… and this year, Emily’s birthday was exactly that!

A Winnie the Pooh theme has been on my balloon wish list for so long, so when Emily decided she wanted to spend her birthday in the Hundred Acre Wood, it was time to give it a go.

Now, I’ll happily admit I’m not a professional balloon twister! 😅 But when the birthday girl says “go big or go home”, what choice do you have? So many hours went into creating Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and friends. There were popped balloons, balloons that didn’t quite behave, balloons that made me start all over again, and a few moments where I questioned my life choices! 😂

Are they perfect? Probably not.

But were they perfect in the eyes of an excited 8-year-old? Absolutely. ❤️

Every year Emily chooses a completely different theme, and I love being part of bringing her ideas to life. (Although Emily… if you’re reading this… maybe something simple next year? 🤣)

And if anyone ever says, “They’re just balloons,” please show them this.

Because it’s never just balloons.

It’s hours of planning, creating, problem-solving and starting again. It’s patience, determination, imagination and a whole lot of love poured into every single detail. It’s taking a vision from someone’s head and turning it into something real.

The best bit? Seeing it all come together and knowing how much joy it will bring.

🎈✨ They say life begins at 40… but sometimes the party doesn’t start until 42! 😂✨

Some birthdays come and go quietly, but this one was worth the wait!

After missing out on the big 4️⃣0️⃣ celebrations, her amazing friends decided it was finally time to put that right and pulled out all the stops for a surprise celebration filled with love, laughter and plenty of memories. 💕

And honestly? Better late than never!

From the gorgeous rose gold balloons to being surrounded by the people who matter most, this was a reminder that age is just a number and it’s never too late to celebrate a milestone properly. 🥂

Here’s to fabulous friends, unforgettable moments and proving that turning 40 can still be celebrated… even if it’s three years later! 🎉

✨ A little bit of exciting news from us… ✨

Our first bit of good news is finally here… the van has had a glow up! 🚐💜

It might just look like a van to some people, but to us it represents years of hard work, late nights, early mornings, taking risks, believing in ourselves, and slowly building a dream one balloon at a time.

Every step forward feels special, and we’re so proud to see Full of Wind Balloons continuing to grow. There’s still plenty more to come, but this feels like a lovely milestone to celebrate.

Most of all, I hope we’re making my dad proud. ❤️ He always believed in working hard, giving things your all, and never giving up on what matters. I’d like to think he’d be smiling seeing where this little balloon business has taken us.

Thank you to every single person who has booked with us, recommended us, liked a post, shared our work, or simply cheered us on along the way. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you.

We were delighted to create this elegant welcome display for Maria & Bear’s 30th Wedding Anniversary. The soft blush pinks, creams, golds and delicate florals created the perfect entrance to welcome family and friends as they celebrated three decades of marriage.

The light-up numbers added that extra wow factor, creating the perfect focal point for guests, photographs and a celebration that deserved to shine as brightly as the happy couple themselves.

We loved creating this stunning Year 13 prom display for HSLC! 🎓

Featuring their own illuminated PROM letters framed by a beautiful organic balloon garland in soft pinks, creams and sage green, this design was finished with delicate florals and fresh gypsophila to add an elegant, sophisticated touch perfect for such a special occasion.

Prom is a milestone moment – the end of one chapter and the beginning of another – and we’re always honoured to play a small part in helping create those lasting memories and photo opportunities.

Wishing all the Year 13 students an amazing evening filled with laughter, friendship and celebrations. ✨

🎂 It’s my birthday today… and we may have done something! 👀🎈

Those who know me know I can’t sit still for long, and birthdays always seem like a good excuse to make plans, dream a little bigger, and maybe get a little carried away! 😂

☀️ Holiday Notice ☀️

Just a little reminder that we’ll be taking a short holiday from next week and returning on 7th July.

If you have an upcoming booking and your deposit or payment is due, we’d really appreciate it being paid before we go away so we can make sure all stock is ordered and ready for your event.

A gentle reminder that an enquiry does not secure a booking. Your date is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received.

As we won’t be ordering stock while we’re away, if you’re looking to book balloons for dates just after the 7th July, please get in touch as soon as possible. You still have this week and part of next week to secure your booking and avoid disappointment.

Thank you so much for keeping us busy and for all your continued support. We can’t wait to come back refreshed and ready for another busy summer of celebrations! 🎈❤️
