WE’RE BACK!! 🎈
And we’ve come home with some fire in our bellies… and some BBQ spare ribs in them too 🤣🔥 I’ll share the photographic evidence because obviously that’s the important bit!
We’ve had such a great few days away, giving ourselves a bit of breathing space, trying to refocus and work out what’s next for Full of Wind Balloons.
All whilst rock climbing, playing chicken with the waves 🌊🤣 and taking in the absolutely beautiful Devonshire and Cornish coastline.
There was another, much more important reason for heading down that way too. Chris’ dad is buried in Devon, and Chris wanted to go and spend a little time with him and say hello. ❤️
Life moves so quickly, and sometimes you just need to stop for a moment and have that little chat with your Dad. To tell him what’s going on, what you’re worrying about, what you’re hoping for… and maybe quietly ask, “What do you reckon, Dad?”
Because no matter how old we get, there are times when we still need our Dad’s advice. And although they might not be here to answer us in the way we wish they could, somehow just being close to them can help you find the answers you were looking for. ❤️
It was a special little part of our trip and one that meant a lot.
But now we’re home, rested, refocused and ready to get stuck back in!
We’ve already spent a WHOLE day in the unit getting all our cut-outs out and building balloon garlands around them ready to show you what we can offer.
And when I say all the cut-outs… there were a LOT. 🙈🤣
The unit currently looks like a children’s party has exploded in it and we’re questioning some of our life choices… but they look BLOOMING GOOD! 😂🎈
So keep your eyes peeled later because we’ve got loads to show you.
Apparently the little break worked… we’ve come back with ideas coming out of our ears.
Poor Chris. He thought the holiday was supposed to help. 🤣
