Horam Manor Farm is a cluster of traditional barns and cart lodges in the setting of an unspoilt area of Sussex countryside. Once a site of the Wealden iron industry, the farm now offers a wide range of different habitats, including open grassland, meadows, ancient woodlands, streams and Tudor hammer ponds. This is the place for that special day of memories that will last forever...
Facilities and capacity
THE CARTLODGE Venue was once a home to the farm carts and carthorses, this beautiful barn has been carefully restored, retaining its unique character with original oak beams whilst providing thoroughly modern facilities. The main hall area is 5.7m x 11.5m (18.5ft x 28ft), toilets which include a disabled access toilet and free parking. Seated capacity is 60 for inside but having a marquee outside can be a great way of extending the size of your guest list.
Services offered
Use of Cartlodge Venu with outside grassed area (18.5ft x 28ft) and use of the adjacent Granary as a very atmospheric bar area from 5.00pm Friday to 5.00pm Sunday is £500.00 or £17 an hour. You would be welcome to use the farm surrounds, such as the old carts and barns, or in fine weather the Nature Trails, for timeless photographs.
