🪷T I P S🪷

The simplest piece of advice I can offer a bride, to ensure she has an incredible day is :

Make sure you east some breakfast.

It sounds ridiculous, I know, but it a truly impact your enjoyment of the day. When you wake first thing on your wedding day, there are so many emotions, excitement and nervousness, being the first to spring to mind. Perhaps you didn’t have the best nights sleep and everyone arrives for the day to begin. The last thing on your mind is eating and then someone pops some fizz. STOP! Here’s where you bring in the fruit platter and pastries. These items are small and easy to graze on, meaning that you hair and makeup isn’t delayed while you finish your full English. They are easier to eat if you are feeling nervous as it’s just a tiny bite.

Also consider that you won’t be eating anything till much later, the last thing you want is a bride who feels faint, with her tummy rumbling during the vows, or worse still, feeling tipsy because she didn’t have her breakfast.

What are you planning, or did you have for your breakfast on your wedding day?

I’ll go first, my Nan woke me up at 6:15am with a slice of jam on toast. It was so dry, just like eating cardboard. I could only manage a few bites. I was very peckish all day.

The “BER” months are finally here🍂 and I am so happy. It’s my favourite time of year, the trees burst in to their Autumnal colour and create the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos, candle season makes everything feel warm and cosy, and sleeves & boots are making their way out of the wardrobe again🍁
