A rare opportunity to host an event within the British Museum with the chance to offer guests a private viewing of the Bayeux Tapestry. An iconic venue for an iconic exhibition.

Taking inspiration from the tapestries, we used the marble and stone of the British Museum Great Court as our canvas and from here added colour and natural materials. Inspired by the colours of the tapestry dyes, rich red linen hung from the food stations, in a long flowing length, green and yellow florals sat among the space and rich, velvet furniture created inviting seating areas.

Every detail, from the back bar whose shape mimicked that in the tapestries, through to the linen of the staff uniforms and the texture of the lamps was pulled from the tapestries. Equally we spent as much time tweaking the floorpan ensuring it worked for the large numbers and great guest flow.

A hugely rewarding event to work on with an incredible client team and fantastic suppliers.

And just like that Summer 2026 comes to a close.

Ordinarily come summer, we’re heads down delivering events and prepping for a busy Autumn. This year though, we decided to say yes to it all and have a lot of fun alongside the hard work. So much fun! The end slide is probably our favourite thing we did.

1. Rooftop rosé to kick off the season
2. A gorgeous summer outing to the Royal Polo 🏇
3. A fun night at Henley Regatta
4. Summer drinks at Somerset House
5. Wimbledon - there’s nowhere else like it on earth.
6. V&A Summer Soirée, one of the most fun invites
7. A private view of the Schiaparelli. Incredible.
8. Champagne at Ascot
9. A private breakfast viewing at the National Portrait Gallery seeing the inspiring Marilyn Monroe exhibition.
10. Right at the start of summer, a very special journey onboard Celia by British Pullman
11. Team drinks with the dreamiest of team. Couldn’t love our team more, very lucky to have such an aligned mindset and work (and play) ethic. ❤️

The diversity of events that we deliver is what truly keeps us on our toes. It gives us incredibly broad skillsets and allows us to feel comfortable working with brands, corporates, wedding couples and private individuals.

It’s such a range but we really love it and wouldn’t have it any other way.

MUSEUM OF CYCLADIC ART GALA | The colours

Taking a moment to appreciate the colour ways and how perfectly the bespoke made tablecloths work within the spaces.

The dinner cloths worked in harmony with the tableware and had us thinking about the materials and stones seen within the museum’s exhibitions. Moving back to the reception - need we say more, the perfect match. Finally, we saw the deepest of reds for the pudding stalls, perfectly complimenting the rich tones of the chocolate desserts.

The brand colour of the museum, green, was also picked out at points in the after party space - the furniture, the staff uniforms, the foliage. Often details like this are only absorbed subconsciously but it’s the way they make it feel that’s important. Considered, curated, intentional.

IT TAKES AN ARMY | On site

Events, especially those within unique venues with limited set up times, really do require an army to bring to life. From the host teams, the waiting teams, the crew, the venue, the van drivers, the back of house team…the list goes on.

SERPENTINE PAVILION x QATAR MUSEUM | The styling

‘Elevated picnic’ was the brief for this event. Celebrating the flavours of Qatar with the food from Torba Market alongside that of Chef Noof, the picnic feel felt wonderful within the garden inspired Pavilion structure.

Taking inspiration from the terracotta bricks of the structure, the florals all sat in traditional pots and mimicked the planting of countryside gardens. We leant into natural materials - rattan, wood and linen which felt right within the gardens. Such a gorgeous relaxed feel.

SERPENTINE x QATAR MUSEUM | The venue.

A moment for the venue. Each year the Pavilion is designed by a different architect meaning that you never quite know what it’ll look like until a few months beforehand.

This structure, designed by LANZA Atelier is a celebration of curves, texture and shape. Inspired by English gardens, it feels far from temporary.

So fun to work within spaces like these.
