Coldest. Wedding. Ever. 🥶
We knew it’d be chilly — coats, wellies, the whole lot — but that wind at Tyrella Beach? Next level! 🌬️
I think we had about four minutes before Mary absolutely froze (fair play to her 😅). Totally worth it though — the photos turned out so good.
Back to Ballydugan Mill just as the light faded — golden hour magic ✨
Then sparklers, laughter, and the best guests to end the night.

The Mill At Ballydugan

This has got to have been the coldest wedding I’ve ever shot!

We knew it was going to be chilly — it’s that time of year, after all — but wow, the wind really added to it. Thankfully, we came prepared with coats and wellies, and everything started off great.
It rained, then the sun came out… and stayed out! Down at Tyrella Beach, we managed about four minutes before poor Mary froze solid (understandably so — it was baltic!). But my goodness, the photos were so worth it.

We warmed up on the way back to Ballydugan Mill, grabbed a few quick shots with the cars just as the light was fading — and it worked out perfectly. Then one of my favourite parts of the day: sparklers! The guests were absolute legends and made it such fun.

Tullymore forest

Autumn light, forest vibes, and the dreamiest little ceremony at Tully Mall — tucked away between the trees with the Mourne Mountains watching over. It was one of those days where everything just lined up perfectly — the colours, the sunlight, the calm. A small, intimate ceremony surrounded by forest and family, with that golden glow filtering through the leaves.

Afterwards, we wandered down to the river — stepping stones, reflections, all those warm autumn tones. I might’ve even gone for a paddle to get the shot (worth it). Everything about it just felt easy and real.

We wrapped up the evening at the Slieve Donard Hotel, where the light faded into a moody autumn night — a few night-time photos to finish it off, the perfect end to an incredible day.
