What a day.
Yesterday’s wedding at OTH was something special. The forecast had us all expecting rain from start to finish, but the atmosphere was completely relaxed and full of fun – especially thanks to the bride’s squad. You were an absolute joy to be around.
I arrived in the pouring rain, fingers firmly crossed for a break in the weather. It was about then I realised I actually go to the gym with Craig… small world.
You can’t get much more intimate than a ceremony at OTH, and it looked incredible – just wait until you see the photos. After the ceremony, everyone gathered in the bar area for drinks (I may have helped myself to a piece of the homemade shortbread – and yes, it was as good as it sounds). So many great candid moments from that part of the day.
Then, just as hoped, the sun made a brief appearance. We dashed outside for some quick portraits before the drizzle returned. Family photos were a breeze – honestly, it’s hard to beat that backdrop.
Just before dinner and speeches, the sun came out again and we grabbed a few more shots before heading in. Then came the party – and what a party. I could talk all day about the Ceilidh. I think the Scottish guests might have had the edge, but full marks to everyone who got involved.
