BUSINESS UPDATE

Goodbye for now ❤️

A little while back, I announced a break during May and June to organise stock and focus on my dissertation. After taking some time to reflect, I have decided to extend this break until my studies are complete.

🛑 For current bookings: Please don’t worry, your booking is secure and will go ahead exactly as planned.

🎁 For charities and schools: Any prizes, donations, or commitments already offered will also be honoured as promised.

🗓️ For new enquiries: I will not be taking on any new bookings for the time being.

When I started Balloons by Mealor in November, it was a side business alongside work, family, and studies. I never expected it to grow the way it did. The support since then has been incredible, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their special occasions.

I am currently completing my Masters in Finance and have just 13 weeks of study remaining. Alongside this, we are also running my husband’s business and modernising a property we purchased last year. Life is incredibly busy right now, and I simply don’t have enough time to do everything well.

This extended break will allow me to focus on my studies, other work commitments, spend time with family, and restructure the business. I want to return with clearer pricing, stronger boundaries, and updated terms to ensure Balloons by Mealor can grow sustainably.

My aim is to reopen bookings in October once my studies are complete and these changes are in place.

This isn’t goodbye forever, just goodbye for now ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported, recommended, booked, shared my posts, and cheered me on. It means more than you know. I look forward to returning with a finished Masters degree and an even stronger business.

We’re absolutely gutted to be missing your special day as we’re currently in India, but receiving your gorgeous photos has made our afternoon 🥰

These safari balloons were created nearly 2 weeks ago before we flew out, and we honestly can’t believe they’re still looking so good for Osian’s first birthday photos 🎉

Seeing our balloons still standing proud on such a special milestone makes us so happy. Thank you for sharing these precious photos with us.

😍💍 A very special setup for a very special couple 💍😍

A few weeks before their wedding, the husband-to-be got in touch with me and asked if I could help create a surprise for his new wife when they returned home after their big day. ❤️

He chose the colours, gave me a budget, and trusted me to do as much as I could with it… so that’s exactly what I did 🎈✨

The surprise started before they even got home, with balloons waiting for them in the car, before leading to a hallway filled with floating balloons, scattered floor balloons, personalised details and a beautiful “Just Married” bubble balloon. 💕

I love being trusted with surprise setups like this. Knowing that the newlyweds arrived home to something completely unexpected makes it all the more special. 🥰
