Wow am I pleased it’s September!

Firstly I love this time of year! It’s my birthday month, I can start dressing in cosy jumpers and lighting candles, but also it’s the beginning of a slower season.

Let’s just say the last 6 months have been very tough. It was by far our busiest year yet especially with alterations. Unfortunately I was a seamstress down which meant taking on all the sewing myself. This was a challenge amongst trying to still do my other job to the best of my ability. We’ve had lots of late nights, lots of tears but I’m proud to say I’ve done it!

Alongside all of this, I had to deal with my nana going into a care home, and then sadly passing away on 1st June. This has been the hardest thing of all this summer and I miss her everyday. But I know she would be so proud of all the work I have been doing.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my incredible brides from this year so far. You have all been so understanding and so kind to me during this time and I always appreciate your flexibility. To the new brides who have bought dresses to my alterations brides, I have loved working on your dresses this year and seeing you happy dances when you take your dress home!

I’m sorry that socials has taken a huge toll but I’m hoping to be more on top of it in the coming months. I’ve got some exciting things planned for this winter and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
